Dear candidates,We have Vacancy for Manager SLP(Security and Loss Prevention)Job DescriptionPOSITION: Manager -SecurityJOB PURPOSE: Responsible to ensure that an organizations security function adds value and gives it a competitive advantage.POSITION REPORTS TO:Vice President-SecurityDIRECT REPORTS Assistant Manager/Sr.Executive/ExecutiveMAJOR KEY RESULT AREAS:

  • Constantly monitor, review,enhance and improve physical security.
  • Must align with organizational security goals and objectives issued by the HO ensuring these are consistently followed up.
  • Work in coordination with other business and support functions to lay priority to loss prevention, enhance security and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Develop a strong security team across the region with an aim to effectively implement security policy of the company to meet business objective.
  • Ensure security policy, business continuity plan, loss prevention and security procedures as issued from time to time from the HO are judiciously implement.
  • Ensure coordination of security efforts across the region and support functions to reduce, minimize and finally eliminate perceived and actual risk that may lead to unsafe practices, loss of business and reputation.
  • Identify security initiatives and standards with an aim to safeguard people, property, business interest and profitability.
  • Ensure security teams carries out effective investigation to reduce and recover the losses. Maintain relationships with local law enforcement and other related government agencies.
  • Conduct security audits to find out gaps in security, identify risk and suggest measures to mitigate.
QUALIFICATION/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGEEssential
  • Graduate / Post Graduate (Any Discipline)
  • Proficient in MS Office
Preferred.
  • MBA
  • Good knowledge of logistics / E- commerce industry security processes systems.
  • Experience in security and vigilance standards.
  • Experienced in identical industry in the security/ Loss prevention functions.
ESSENTIAL / LIKELY EXPERIENCEEssential8 to 12 years professional with vast experience in security domain with a strong foundation of business knowledge and a combination of expertise, including:PreferredThe ability to collaborate and build consensus across departments and among stakeholdersExperience with a wide range of relevant systems, and security monitoring and detection tools.Extensive ability to plan, design, develop, test, implement and monitor security systemsStrong leadership, negotiation and persuasion ability.
