Job Description

    The Manager, Smart Factory Technology will be supporting the technical management of the following technologies:Virtual RealityAugmented RealityDigital work instructionsThe Manager, Smart Factory Technology colleague will be responsible for applying advanced skills and knowledge in the above-mentioned technologies in manufacturing training and create a comprehensive strategic immersive technical roadmap for PGS. The colleague is expected to provide guidance and co-lead multiple innovation projects on new technologies. The colleague is also expected to manage and support the technical team on VR design, VR animation, VR Development and VR Deployment.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESThe Manager, Smart Factory Technology colleagues responsibilities include but are not limited to:Manage and maintain all VR projects from a technical perspectiveContribute technically to exploratory digital smart factory solutionsManage technical Financials, Vendors, Resources and budgetsInterface with business customers and key stakeholdersDevelop and maintain this strategic roadmap for Virtual RealityDeliver all projects leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologyManage and support site deployment activitiesInitiate, develop, and facilitate innovative technology vendor relationships as it relates to POC projectsDevelop and manage technical project timelines, work plans, and deliverablesSupport change management tasks and assisting in maintaining internal social media presenceBASIC QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelors Degree required5+ years of work experience in Digital environments2+ Years in Virtual RealityGood understanding of Oculus / Unity /MayaExcellent project management skillsExecutive Presence & Fluent EnglishPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSStrategic Vision for solution roll outs and emerging tech trendsFacilitation, negotiating and presentation skillsExperience with Agile Software Delivery and/or Scrum Master Certification a plus;Familiarity with Human Centered Design Thinking and comfortability running rapid prototyping proof of concept projectsAbility to work in ambiguous situationsDemonstrated skills in analysis and problem solvingExperience using standard requirements business analysis techniques, including brainstorming, requirements sessions, activity diagrams and use cases desiredPHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to manage many parallel objectives and changing priorities. Understanding complex interrelationships between system components and design/implementation decisions.NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTSDomestic and International travel fluctuating post pandemic from 10-30%,
