Job Description

  1. PROCESS & PRODUCT :
  • Responsible for all the technological activities at the designated area.
  • Release of new products (NPD ) as per time line- Industrialization of new product and process.
  • Review of key product and process parameters and initiate actions.
  • Product and process quality improvement.
  • Generate quality improvement projects to improve the product performance and process efficiencies.
  • System implementation, monitoring and control.
  1. TECHNICAL ECONOMY:
  • Product specification optimization in the designated area
  1. CLAIMS & LOSSES:
  • Monitor products in order to bring in continuous improvement, and keep claims and losses to a minimum
  1. TECHNICAL & QUALITY TASKS:
  • Provide technical know-how and inputs to the designated section
  • Conduct field visits to monitor performance and customer feedback
Analytically sound to analyse the data & should retrieve the claim /defect or any statistical data available in the system.Sound knowledge of Cut sectional analysis , and tyre engineering calculations.
  • Proficiency in Tyre Manufacturing Technology (Capable)
(Technical knowhow & ability in tyre designs, production processes, systems, layout plans and quality measure)
  • Proficiency in Plant systems & processes (Foundational)
(Ability to understand & implement 5S, safety practices, production best practices, QBM and other contemporary systems & process.)
  • Business Focus (Foundational)
(Knowhow on organisation mission ,Code of conduct, product SKUs, accountabilities w.r.t market scenario & competition & ability to apply in ones role, profitability )
