Job Description

    Vice President - Product Management (Mobile & Web) Reporting to : Chief Product Officer (CPO) Brief Description about the role : - The position is responsible for developing and maintaining match making platform- Responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, scope the needs into a product vision and strategy, prioritise what needs to be done first and working with engineers to execute it- Own the entire process of product management, responsible for everything customer sees, feels and experiences, deliver on key business results Key Responsibilities - Lead the product function for a new initiative for global audience- Responsible for managing and leading the complete product lifecycle.- Identify customer needs, business requirements, create preliminary solution concepts- Work solution concepts into requirements split in scope as stories, while working with Content, UX, Design teams- Prioritize stories into sprints, to be executed by tech team- Communicate and co-ordinate feature launches with business, marketing and support teams- Work with other teams to improve effectiveness of features launched- Iterate on improving feature set, leapfrog competition in areas where customer needs are unmet, catch up in areas where competition is strong. Skill and Competencies - Hands on ability to execute independently- Strong strategy, analytical, and communication skills- Ability to solve complex issues to achieve objectives and deliver results on multiple projects in a complex, fast-moving environment.- Strong business management and analysis skills- Ability to solve complex issues to achieve objectives and deliver results on multiple projects in a complex, fast-moving environment- Should understand the building of products in an internet space- Proven ability to work in cross-functional environments including sales, marketing, business management, customer support and engineering teams Education and Experience - Any MBA from a reputed institute, prior experience of working with customer facing product roles for global audience is a plus.- 10 to 12 years of product development experience in B2B/B2C internet product development.
