Job Description

    MBOM PilotExp- 4 to 6 yrsLocation- ChennaiNp- 15days to ImmediateCreate and maintain the Manufacturing Bill of Material in SAP in accordance with Engineering BOM inputs, Assembly process and other production inputs.Ensure data consistency to ensure that vehicles built are consistent with the features list and to avoid disturbances in Production line due to parts missing in MBOM or wrong data.Collaborate with the Design engineer to ensure the quality of MBOM.Pilot and attend scheduling meeting with all the departments involved in change processes.Release EC Notice to all stakeholders to inform about MBOM changes.Lead the audit of Engineering BOMs vs Manufacturing BOM, noting significant errors that may result in shortages or cost discrepancies, communicating as appropriate to update Engineering BOM as requiredSupport Change Management Meetings, liaising with Change Coordinator to effect changes into BOM once approved.Support Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Marketing and planning to identify and resolve product configuration control issues.Educational QualificationBE / B Tech (Mechanical or Automobile Engineering)Skill DescriptionMandatory Skills / Proficiency Required Automotive BackgroundGood SAP knowledge preferable (PP,MM)Expertise in Macros, Excel & PowerPointStrong attention to detailStrong communication skillsMotivation to learn, improve processes and proceduresDesirable Skills / Proficiency Required Understanding of PLM / PDM systemsBonus Skills / Proficiency Required
