This platform will be horizontally scalable, highly available, and will cater to current and future SaaS product go to market strategies.What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for How do you design and handle commerce transactions at high scale when you know that none of the textbook solutions will work We are looking for someone who would be interested in staying ahead of technology and strive to learn latest cloud technologies. As a Member of Technical Staff, you will design, implement the RICEW objects on the SAP ERP platform. Come and help make a history as we change the way an enterprise pivots to Subscription and SaaS.Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing You will design and implement solutions for SaaS and Subscription on the SAP BRIM platform.You will own a component of Product Model (Item), Pricing Simulation, charge plans and Order fulfilment related deliverables and ensure its production readiness.You will deliver a solution using SAP standard APIs, import programs or custom interfaces (using CRM ABAP) etc. These solutions could be real-time integration or batch processing depending on the transaction volume.You will integrate the SAP subscription and commerce solutions with multiple cloud native componentsWhat type of work will you be doing What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis You will write code in one or more programming languages such as ABAP, OData Service, SQL, Python and Java.- You have a strong foundation in SAP BRIM - Subscription Order Management, Convergent Charging and Convergent InvoicingYou will build high-performance, highly available and scalable distributed systems.You will get familiar with multi-stack system integrations via Rest APIs and other mechanisms.You will design solutions for long term scalability and maintainabilityYou have strong computer science fundamentals.You enjoy working with high volumes of transactional data.You understand domain driven architectureWhat is the leadership like for this role What is the structure and culture of the team like You would be able to work well both independently and as a team member.You are self-starter and enthusiastic personality.You will collaborate with product teams in defining the future of the commerce platform.You will collaborate with other engineers and ensure best engineering practices are followed in software development.You will be reporting to the Manager - Commerce Finance Engineering (CFE). You will work closely with other Engineers, Product Owners, Leads and Architects.The CFE team is responsible for the following commerce capabilities:

  • Product & Pricing
  • Order Management & Fulfillment
  • Billing, Invoicing & Payment
