Job Description

*Manager, SoC VerificationJob Summary:

  • Build and manage a team of ASIC verification engineers.
  • Key member of technical management of the verification team in complex SoC and IP components.
  • Take leadership role on ON Semi s ASIC verification methodology and architecture.
  • Define and implement testplans for ON Semi s wi-fi chipsets.
  • Lead ASIC verification activities for ON Semi s AP/client chipsets.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed plan for pre-silicon verification/validation.
  • Review and enhance Verification methodology and module-level/system-level verification.
  • Work closely with ASIC design and systems team drive day-to-day verification related activities
  • Work closely with SW and Operations team for external support.
  • Own verification schedules and reporting of progress metrics
, *Qualifications:
  • MS in Computer or Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of experience
  • Must have 5+ years of experience with leading multiple chip verification project from start to production.
  • In depth knowledge of verification principles, testbenches, stimulus generation, UVM/OVM, and coverage
  • Extensive experience debugging designs as well as creating advanced simulation environments
  • Must have experience with project management and tracking project from Specification to Verification Sign-off.
  • Experience with FPGA and/or In-circuit emulation platforms such as Palladium/Veloce is plus.
  • Experience with baseband and/or wireless technology is plus.
Must have excellent communication skills.
