Job Description

You will be working with State Street teams from around the globe to lead a team supporting multiple global premier investment management clients. Your role will involve leadership and strategy responsibilities to oversee and deliver all day-to-day transactional tasks of the transaction management team in a fast-paced, flexible, and exciting environment. You will need to initiate and develop good communication and interpersonal relationships with business operations teams and IT to maintain the high level of service provided to all clients.As a Vice President in Transaction Management, you will have the following responsibilities:- Managing the corresponding Transaction Management team in the location for multiple clients- Driving transaction management and settlement discipline excellence through proactive management of the trade lifecycle- Leading transformation initiatives, including automation and process improvements- Ensuring service delivery and client sentiment, including direct client contact- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing associated risks- Developing a strong risk management and control environment- Conducting high-level analysis, identifying and resolving work-processing issues, and making suggestions to streamline operations- Liaising with colleagues globally for client issue resolution- Reviewing, recommending, and driving process improvement initiatives- Supporting and proactively managing Client Change Request items- Communicating effectively on issues/problems to the Client and SSC management- Providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members- Engaging with senior leadership and stakeholders to present insights and growth plans- Demonstrating excellent analytical skills and the ability to analyze on the spotTo succeed in this role, you should have:- Deep and extensive asset management experience- Broad and in-depth understanding of the asset management industry- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills- Client-centric attitude in managing and delivering operations and services- Experience in trade and reconciliation break investigations- Strong communication and presentation skills- Self-motivation, adaptability, and initiative under pressure- Commercial acumen and experience in leading operations within budgets- Strong understanding of risk and controls environment within a G-SIFI firm- Executive presence and effective communication across stakeholder groups- Flexibility in working outside of your responsibilities- Result-oriented mindset with ownership and accountabilityPreferred qualifications include:- Degree in finance, business, technology, or relevant industry experience- Proven experience in client communication and interaction at all levels- In-depth understanding of Middle Office operations, preferably Trade Management Operations- Understanding of key technology supporting investment management operations- Experience in driving organizational change and leveraging technology solutionsYou should also have strong skills in MS Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint, along with excellent written and spoken English abilities.,
