Job Description

Network Solutions Architect- SDWAN expertCompetitive salaryBangalore/ Chennai IndiaPrinciple Accountabilities

  • Manages SD-WAN Proof of Concepts for customers in conjunction with networking sales engineers.
  • Manages SD-WAN solution configuration validation process
  • Remains up-to-date on new product, technology, and services offerings
  • Assists in the on-going technical education and development of the broader team
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to the account team(s) in providing clear understanding and awareness of the benefit of new solution offers
Key Responsibilities
  • Highly technical individual who understands and leverages solutions and can explain how SD-WAN will benefit the overall business
  • Conducts POCs, lab and field trials, certifications, and beta program and documents test plans
  • Drives POC test plan, high-level design and low-level design as it pertains to customer environment
  • Works closely with Customer Solutions Center to build demo environments for customers
  • Works closely with VMware team to share best practices on customer POCs
  • Keeps track of different activities and milestones and keeps the broader team up to date to ensure on-time project delivery
  • Develops long-term relationship with partner customers and our internal teams
  • Comes up with creative ways to tackle customer problems, and bring the feedback to product team to continue improving our product
  • Fully adept in Dell solution offers
  • Organizes internal/external resources in response to, and in anticipation of, customer needs
  • Represents Dell EMC at partner roadshow and tradeshow, customer and partner training
  • Engages cross-functional resources, regardless of geographic location, to achieve goal/ meet customer needs
  • Effectively balances demands from multiple stakeholders
  • Effectively balances short term and long-term priorities
Essential Requirements
  • BS in CS, EE, or relevant degree from accredited university with heavy emphasis on Networking is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience with data centers, networking, SD-WAN technologies, and Cloud services
  • 5+ years of experiences in customer facing roles, such as Sales Engineer, Technical Marketing Engineer, Consulting Engineer, or Solution Architect
  • Network Industry Certification preferred such as CCIE or JNCIE
  • Hands on experience with different products and technologies commonly seen in Enterprise network, including but not limited to routers, switches, firewall, hypervisors, Windows, Linux, etc.
  • Uses advanced knowledge to build shareholder relationships and assist in developing business solutions using Dell solutions portfolio
  • Strong level of competency in providing total solutions and providing cross Domain/function teamwork
  • Exhibits a broad-based knowledge of multiple or related industries as well as an acute business understanding
  • 10-20% travel needed to customer sites and for trainings
Preferred Qualifications
  • BGP and OSPF routing knowledge and experience
  • Familiarity with Dell EMC s product portfolio and Services
  • Experience working with value added resellers or system integrators
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills, ability to build rapport and credibility and clearly articulate a value proposition
  • Ability to effectively and energetically present technology and business propositions to customers, peers, and management
  • Analytical abilities, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
  • Experience in a high-volume or critical production service environment
