Job Description

    As a Senior Network Engineer in the regional network operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and reliability of the network. Your primary responsibilities will include resolving incidents and implementing changes effectively.To excel in this role, you should have a minimum number of years of experience in network security operations, implementation, and managing large network security platforms. Additionally, a solid background in network implementation involving routers, switches, SD-WAN, Firewalls, and Load Balancers is essential.Proficiency in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including incident, change, and problem management, is required. You should also have hands-on experience in setting up high-availability, multi-layer datacenter networks and be familiar with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Nagios.Preferred qualifications for this role include industrial certifications like CCNP, PCNSE, and NSE-7. A sound understanding and practical experience in implementing Cisco Routers and Switches (ASR, ISR, Nexus, Catalyst) are necessary. Moreover, you should possess in-depth expertise in advanced IP routing and switching technologies, particularly BGP, EIGRP, SDWAN, OSPF, PBR, QOS, ECMP, VRRP, HSRP, and VPC.In addition to technical skills, having a curious mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and requirements in the financial industry will be beneficial. Familiarity with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions such as Zscaler and Prisma Access is advantageous. Experience in network automation and knowledge of regulatory requirements from authorities like MAS and RBI are also valuable assets.Previous experience as an IT professional in banking or financial institutions is considered advantageous for this role. You should be open to working in a 24*7 rotational shift and participate in a rotational on-call model when necessary.This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in network engineering and contribute to the operational efficiency and security of the network infrastructure.,
