Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7 Alarm Monitoring and L1 support on RAN network elements.
  • Perform L1 Health Checks and rectify any issues found.
  • Perform RAN Alarm Analysis and rectify any issues found.
  • Perform L1 troubleshooting and Fault restoration: First respond to TT raised by L0 Surveillance, L1 Health checks, Performance Team (PM GNOC) or Customer Fault Team (CPD).
  • Implement agreed workarounds.
  • Update TT with L1 fault information, impact analysis and rectification.
  • Provide interface to other support levels and teams.
  • Capture network data ie logs for L2.
  • Follow agreed escalation timeframes.
  • Update Corrective Action Register.
  • Review and awareness of CR activity.
  • Develop and maintain L1 processes.
  • Develop and maintain L1 job aids.
  • Join and provide updates on technical bridges.
  • Management reports of effectiveness of RAN L1 functions.
  • Provide agreed reports.
  • Contribute to audit requests.
  • Performance report fetching from Netact and filter shared counter by care team for further analysis
