JD:Responsible for growth/ maintenance of sales and profitability as well as relations with assigned customers and/ orprospects by segment or geography. Currently t he scope includes customers i n Power & Petrochem Industry located i nentire Southern Region, operating f rom Chennai. Completely responsible f or t he assigned customer accounts andshould be willing to tavel extensively (50% of t ravel included)Account objectives & f orecast Participate in setting detailed quantified objectives and develop detailed plans (incl. new opportunities) Execution: account & relationship management Accomplish measures and report performance against assigned objectives of t argeted accounts. Perform account management duties i ncluding, (but not l imited t o) negotiating short t erm and l ong t ermcontract, administering sales contract and ensuring t erms and conditions are adhered t o, resolution andcommunication of customer complaints (in coordination with Customer Service) Identify growth/ profitability i mprovement opportunities (using CRM opportunity managementfunctionality) and advance t he relationships with customers i n order t o f ully capture t hem Introduce new products and new solutions t o t he customers Apply t he pricing policy vis a vis t he assigned accounts Sales f orecast Develop accurate f orecasts of current and prospective customers. Customer i ntimacy and needs understanding Establish and nurture relationship with assigned customers (management, purchasing, R&D) Understand customers needs (incl. Technical), t est potential i deas and solutions, and collaborate withTechnical Service t o better serve customers Gather valuable i nformation about market and competitors f rom customers and convey all necessarywhere appropriate Collect and document (via CRM) customer knowledge and gather customer needs and f eedback (incl.visit and call reports) Ensure l ink and communication t o other f unctions (Marketing, Technical Service, Customer Service,R&D, operations) - and collaborate with other f unctions on t opics related t o t he customer when relevantEducation and Experience requirements: B.Tech/B.E. with minimum 4 years experience i n handling Sales f unction Knowledge of Manufacturing process, Refractory products and application of products)
