Job Description

    1. Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Development
      • Build and nurture partnerships across various sectors to promote disability-inclusive development in support of the RIGHTS project.
    2. Opportunity Identification
      • Identify and pursue collaboration opportunities with government agencies (both state and central), international and regional organizations, human rights groups, academic institutions, healthcare practitioners, media outlets, the private sector, NGOs, and civil society organizations.
    3. Strategic Planning
      • Develop strategies and action plans to strengthen the partnership component of the RIGHTS project, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
    4. Coalition Building
      • Establish and maintain issue-based coalitions and partnerships with organizations that share a commitment to disability inclusion.
    5. Information Alignment
      • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to harmonize information needs and requirements related to the RIGHTS project and the RPwD Act, 2016.
    6. Advocacy and Awareness
      • Promote awareness and understanding of disability rights and inclusion among partners and stakeholders.
    7. Project Implementation Support
      • Support the effective implementation of the RIGHTS project by leveraging partnerships to enhance resource mobilization, capacity building, and knowledge sharing.
    8. Additional Responsibilities
      • Undertake any other relevant tasks as assigned by the Project Director, RIGHTS, DWDA, or other senior officials.
    Key Skills Required
    • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Knowledge of disability rights and inclusive development practices.
    • Experience in partnership development within various sectors.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
