Job Description

    As an Ops Accounting Analyst 2 at our company, you will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data within your specialty area. Your role will involve applying your knowledge of processes, procedures, and systems to carry out assigned tasks effectively. You are expected to interact with team members to achieve common objectives and make evaluative judgments based on information analysis. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in identifying and selecting solutions, guided by precedents, to resolve issues efficiently.**Responsibilities:**- Work with seniors on data related for Internal and external Auditors, ensuring timely and accurate submission of all deliverables- Initiate process changes in alignment with emerging risks and regulatory requirements- Manage multiple priorities successfully with strong organization skills- Demonstrate attention to detail, along with problem-solving and analytical skills- Build partnerships across Citi businesses through excellent relationship management skills- Drive results across diverse stakeholders using strong risk, process, and project management skills- Contribute to the application of operational risk policies, technology, and governance processes- Identify system or process weaknesses, proposing resolutions for increased processing efficiency- Assess risks across businesses and organize cross-functional solutions- Safeguard Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with laws, rules, and regulations**Qualifications:**- Experience working in cross-cultural global teams is an advantage- Preferably with an accounting background- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsIn this role, you will independently post/balance books of account, such as cashbook, general journal, sales book, purchase register, and general and subsidiary ledgers. You will research and interpret factual information, applying good knowledge of industry practices and standards.
