Job Description

We have an Urgent opening for Oracle apps DBA and Oracle Apps Technical. Oracle Apps Technical This is Apps Technical with either HRMS or Apps Technical with SCM/FIN. To design, develop, test, deploy and support Enterprise Application Solutions related to technologies surrounding the modules of Enterprise Applications to enable clients meet their Process and System automation requirements. Customize, extend, modify, localize or integrate existing ERP products Develop ERP Reports to cater to business specific reporting needs across all levels of complexity. Work on development activities and manage custom application development projects, customization and extension of Oracle Applications Framework is mandatory(OAF). Extremely good understanding of underlying coding language with a very strong understanding of the underlying technical architecture of ERP Applications. Develop, test and support software components, (viz. reports, work flow, interfaces, customizations, data migration scripts) and document system and processes t. Oracle DBA Upgrade of Oracle E-Business Suite from the previous releases Application DBA administrator activities Patch Management, Application cloning and advances maintenance. Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle related products Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges) Perform database tuning and performance monitoring Perform application tuning and performance monitoring Setup and maintain documentation and standards Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support. Patch Management and Version Control Installation and configuration of SSL and other security features. Basic Operating system management for performance monitoring. Database administration, backup and recovery and performance tuning Implementation of Change management, Incident Management and Request Management. Perform Health checks and proactively ensure that the Production system is available and on an on-going basis with a minimum of disruption to achieve agreed SLA availability targets. Investigate and Remedy Unavailability with adherence to Client ITSM processes. Handle alerts and Notifications as per Client ITSM processes Fulfil the service request as per the contractual SLAs with compliance to Client ITSM Processes Define and maintain knowledge about the system. Investigate and diagnose the incident, resolve the incident and restore service as per the applicable SLAs and through compliance with Client ITSM Processes. Incident Resolution, performance related incidents and problems and adherence to Client Incident Management Process. Provide Root-Cause Analysis report (Mandatory for major incidents (SEV 1 and SEV 2) and on a need basis for low priority incidents (SEV 3 and the rest) Investigating problems and perform Root Cause Analysis Implement preventive and corrective actions as per the approved RCA Change Management (Application Enhancements, Bug Fixes, Upgrades etc.) Change management on approved and allocated RFCs (Request for Change) Perform application enhancements (not limited to Workflow customizations, User Interface Customizations, Bug fixes, Developing New Report, Adding new functionality or feature, Implementing new rules etc.) with compliance to Client Application & ITSM processes. Add/Change CIs (including design specifications, user manual, test cases, etc.) as per approved RFC. Perform Release Management activities as per Client ITSM processes Perform coordination with the application vendor to implement tested and controlled versions of software releases. Prepares and maintains production support documentation to assist with the on-going operation, maintenance, and development of the enterprise services. Ensure that appropriate levels of monitoring of resources and system performance are set. Monitor the application for capacity utilization and performance and take required action as per Client ITSM processes. Recommends resolutions to capacity / performance-related Incidents and Problems Support the BCM activities by performing Failover the Service to the DR site and Failback the service as per the RTO and RPO objectives and with compliance to BCM and DR processes. Ensure implementation and compliance to security policies and controls in the management of CIs and also in the operation of the ODC physical and design controls. Perform Vulnerability Remediation activities with compliance to Client Application & ITSM processes. Comply and participate on IT / Security Audits and implement non-compliance remedial actions. Configuration management , ensuring that all design and development artifacts are on the source control repository Completing tasks and support tickets assigned as per SLAs Perform other related duties pertaining to application maintenance and support Understand and practice information security fundamentals covering confidentiality, integrity and availability of information in Client organization,
