P&C Digital Specialist IN, Chennai | Professional | Full-Time | ID: 12983Vestas is the world leader in wind technology, in the development of the wind power industry. Our mission is to continuously improve HR operations through standardisation, process simplification and best practices supported from user perspective simple and intuitive HR digital solutions within our decided platforms. Our two primary focus areas are professionally interlinked: - Digital HR solutions owners: being the interface between Process Owners and IT and securing well-functioning HR IT systems supporting the HR processes. - Coordinating Continuous Improvement projects within HR Vestas is on a Digital journey within the HR area. We have implemented SuccessFactors. And we will continue to build good Digital solutions based upon the SuccessFactors solution. Even if organized in HR the team run the full operation and maintenance of SuccessFactors whilst our Global IT has the technical responsibility for all other solutions. The importance and complexity of the Time & Payroll landscape and systems are rising, and to secure this Digital journey we are searching for a new team member who can support us through consolidating and optimizing this area - great and important opportunity ahead.Responsibilities You will be part of the team focusing on HR Operations Systems, which include SuccessFactors Employee Central module, SAP HCM, HR Services solution, Time and Payroll systems etc. Your primary role will be within Time & Payroll systems where you have an important role securing that Vestas Time & Payroll solutions are operating and well-integrated with our Master Data solution SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP HCM as well as other operating systems in the functional areas. Vestas is on a journey globalizing and consolidating payroll and time solutions and it is apparent that we need a skilled professional to work with in the area between LoB, Payroll, Vendors and Outsourcing Partners to secure stabile, scalable and sustainable solutions.Main responsibilities:

  • Define governance structures across solutions
  • Taking care of Time and & Payroll communities across the organisation
  • Key professional in coordinating forming the strategy for the technical landscape and solutions for the scalable future.
  • Coordinate resolutions for issues within the systems in collaboration with Global IT and vendors where applicable.
  • Coordinate change request processes and coordinate with Global IT and vendors where applicable
  • Coordinate test cycles for changes, enhancements and upgrades
  • Secure system and training documentation
  • Organise upgrades / updates to systems
  • Secure stabile support structures enabling stabile operations and swift maintenance of the Time & Payroll systems.
  • Digital P&C lead coming projects such as the continued outsourcing of Payroll, interfacing payroll solutions to our Master Data solutions, establishing new time and leave solutions.
  • Stakeholder management across the Vestas organisation and within the People & Culture organisation.
  • Day-to-day 3rd level technical support
  • Together with our Support responsible improve the Regional Super User organisation and our HR Operations teams to optimize the daily operations and limit support coming to the central team.
Qualifications We expect you to have longer experience within the Time & Payroll area understanding both the operations of these areas and you are burning for the technology and the opportunities within the area.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with operation of Time & Payroll systems in an SAP context.
  • You are founded in the area of technology and has created your space of expertise within Time or Payroll technology solutions and thrive for creating sustainable solutions and processes.
  • You have a proven experience of participating in effective global implementation of Time & Payroll solutions in the role of the internal HRIT specialist, external implementation consultant or similar.
  • Global reach to stakeholders is key for growth in this position. You must have experience with both project and continuous stakeholder management, heading foras or similar on a global scale.
  • You can come both with an IT and HR background
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central configuration or leave solution is a preference.

  • Skilled operations person which enable you build the structure and processes for a solid operation, knows how root cause and fix system incidents / issues in collaboration with the HR Master Data team and our Global IT. But you are also able to focus strategic and long-term being part of forming the Time & Payroll area for the scalable future of Vestas.
  • IT technical savvy understanding HR processes.
  • A qualified teamplayer but able to work with limited supervision with own deliverables.
  • Ability to work well in a time-sensitive situation, with limited supervision and collaboratively, and as a member of a cross-functional team.
  • Focused on the task at hand and always delivering high quality with an eye for both the details and the dependencies to other parts of our systems.
  • Strong verbal and written English.
