Job Description

    We have opening with well known clientPosition: Painting Inspector Location: Kattupalli, ChennaiExperience: 3 to 8 Years Qualification:: B.Tech / B.E. in MechanicalEmployment Nature : Contractual ( 1 year)
    • Welding essential variables as preheating temperature, consumables and the welding monitoring as well as amperage, volts, travel speed, heat input and interpass temperatureaccording to the welding procedure specification(WPS).
    • Develop and conduct qualification of welder qualifying test.(WQT).
    • Checking the preparation of cutting, beveling, parent material identity, and all that is not allowed according to the fabrication shop drawings.
    • Involved in Incoming materials quality assurance by checking the mill test certificates of incoming materials and required dimensional data by random inspection.
    • Monitoring ensuring all painting & blasting related work were carried out to the contract specification procedures and quality control plan.
    • Involved in PAINTING and WELDING inspection of fabricated jobs and in documentations of FINAL DOSSIER according to the customers requirement.
    • Highly experienced in handling Quality control kits tests like surface profile test, DFT &
    • WFT gauge, temperature gauges (sling psychomotor dew point calculator) surface temperature gauge, holiday test chloride test etc.
    • Finding all coating defects and knowing solutions for solving all coating defects.
    • Should have certification of CSWIP
