Req ID: 63719 PLM / MCAD - Sr.Consultant to join our team in Chennai , Tamil N du (IN-TN) , India (IN) . Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) This position will work within a PLM/CAD applications group, working with IT technical staff and supported engineering groups using various PLM and CAD technologies. Its focus will include managing interconnected PLM data and supporting users of PTC (Parametric Technologies Corp.) products, primarily Windchill PDMLink and Creo Parametric. The position will entail significant end-user support and administration of Windchill PDMLink, Creo Parametric (Pro/ENGINEER), Creo View, and various other CAD-related applications utilities. This will include the ability to troubleshoot not only the listed tools, but the related IT infrastructure elements. Candidate will be expected to provide responsive, effective, and professional end user support. Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each, including education) Bachelor s degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred, but will consider other Engineering or Information Technology discipline) OR four years experience using CAD (ideally Creo Parametric) tools. Working knowledge of CAD/PDM/PLM concepts, good communication skills, and some experience/interest in basic IT areas such as operating systems, applications, networks, and hardware. Nice to have(not a must) experience, skills Some understanding of PLM CAD data management (ideally using Windchill), and a basic understanding of engineering change processes Experience with Windchill PDMLink, Windchill Options and Variants and Creo Parametric Options Modeler Extension (OME), Creo View, and Windchill Visualization Services. Excel/Office skills Programming experience
