Job Description

Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.Must Have Skills :PostgreSQLGood To Have Skills :Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQLJob Requirements :

  • Key Responsibilities : a Implement and maintain database code in the form of stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, triggers, etc b Evaluation of new and upcoming technologies c Work with product managers to ensure database code meets requirements d Work with DBAs and data analysts to ensure database code is accurately documented e Participate as a member in Agile teams, and work with other team members to review user stories
  • Technical Experience : a 3 years Hands on development working as a database developer working with PostgreSQL b Expert Level SQL, PL/pgSQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, views and rewrite SQL c Performance tune SQLs, application programs d Ability to efficiently write database code without compromising data quality e Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels f Should have working knowledge in Erwin Data Model
  • Professional Attributes : a Able to handle multiple tasks b Good analytical skills c Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills d Ability to evaluate alternative solutions and/or workarounds e Working knowledge in software development life cycle and should follow standard development process
