Service, ASP, Service Commercial, Commercial Management Office ASPThe Service Commercial Department ASP is overall responsible for bringing continuous and profitable business growth in Service across the Asia Pacific (ASP) by selling service solutions for Renewable Energy assets to both new and existing customers. The different service solutions are typically relating to one of the following business areas:Long-term Operations & Maintenance agreements (Maintenance Contracting)Transactional sales of Parts & Repair solutions (Parts & Repair)Sales of upgrades, performance improvement & end-of-life solutions (Fleet Optimization)Target customers are all investors, owners & operators of Renewable Energy assets, and especially Wind Turbine Generators (Vestas & non-Vestas) in the ASP region. The main markets of the ASP region consist of Australia & New Zealand, India, Japan as well as Greater Asia, including the markets of South-East Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan) as well as Pakistan, Mongolia, and South-Korea.ResponsibilitiesAs Specialist, Price & Value Engineering ASP you are the subject matter expert and will be responsible for encouraging culture and methodology of value optimization across commercial transactions in the regionCollaborate with customers, the commercial team and other supporting functions to maximize the value our offerings bring to the customer, while also improving Vestass profitability on the existing offerings and new business ideas relating to service agreements in the Asia PacificEngage with commercial team and customers early in the sales process to understand customer needs, financial metrics, and buying criteriaLocal responsible for Service Pricing Engine/Tool/Framework for Maintenance contracting & Transactional salesSupporting regional Service Sales teams in deal optimization and value maximization by Providing sparring on possible & new value levers, guidance on the winning deal strategy, translate AEP, availability, and other optimization efforts into customer value and LCOE improvements, advising on optimal pricing, sharing best practices regarding on scope, pricing, deal tactics, etc. from experience in other ASP and global marketsGuidelines on Configure, Pricing & Quoting to local teamsCreating, maintaining, and/or acting as a superuser for key internal global and regional tools for pricing or any other required tools to support the sales of maintenance contract offeringsCreating, maintaining, and continuously improving pricing intelligence for maintenance offerings across ASP markets, including preparing historical and forward-looking analysesMaintain tracking tools to systematically capture historical prices and relevant deal information (incl. market & competitor insights)Share best practices across the entire team to ensure continuous improvement on a global levelThrough the above activities, you provide critical support to all frontline team-members of the Service Sales team across all ASP markets. As a result, you will be instrumental in maximizing the value and efficiency of each individual deal as well as enable long-term commercial growth & continued growth of Vestas Service in ASPQualificationsBachelors / Masters in Business, Economics, Engineering, Innovation or Energy with relevant commercial experience or solid commercial affinity12+ years of experience in related or similar workInternational experience during education or professional experience is good to haveSkilled communicator with the ability to exchange complex information with clarityRelevant experience in B2B Sales and Service environment of advantage, ideally in the heavy industry and the energy sector (e.g. WTG OEM, utilities, automotive, infrastructure, RE project development, etc.)CompetenciesExperience in or professional understanding of energy economics, financial modelingSolid commercial insight and financial literacyGood capabilities in project managementPropel to turn identified opportunities into actionable & commercialize initiativesCollaborator with the ability to work in a multi-cultural context as part of a global matrix organization,
