Do it here.What you ll be doing.You will play the role of System Architect / Engineering defined within the SAFe framework Scaled Agile, Inc. to successfully deliver the provisioning application changes and support critical programs of Verizon. You will be responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision for an Agile Release Train (ART) to help ensure the system or Solution under development is fit for its intended purpose. You will also be responsible for describing the Solution Context and Solution Intent, analyze technical trade-offs, determine the primary components and subsystems, identify the interfaces and collaborations between them and define Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs).You will play a critical role in aligning teams on the Agile Release Train (ART) to a shared technical direction and partners with those teams in elaborating the Solution and its interfaces, validating technology assumptions, evaluating implementation alternatives, and creating the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
• Participatingin planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and explore solution alternatives.
• Defining subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context.
• Working with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level Solution Intent, and the solution intent information models and documentation requirements.
• Planing and developing the Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities.
Where youll be working In this hybrid role, youll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.What we re looking for.Youll need to have:
• Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Six years or more of experience indesign and development on new software/extension/revisions on existing software.
Even better to have one or more of the following:
• Two or more years of experience with Java-based microservices development.
• Experience with OOP, SOA, modular code development, design patterns, anti-patterns, multithreading.
• Experience with JUnit/TestNG, DevOps tool chain, Maven, Oracle, Postgres, UNIX.
• Knowledge of industry best practices in enterprise-class software development.
• Knowledge of agile methodology.
• Experience in SAFe framework.
• Experience in the telecom industry.
• Experience in Physical and Logical Inventory.
• Experience inCircuit provisioning.
• Experience in data migration of large complex systems.
• Experience in Database optimization (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud computing, Caching, or any related technology, mobile web experience.
• Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP.
