• Working on the overall IT architecture and design for OSS and BSS tools and functionality development.
• Providing technical guidance to cross-functional teams in crafting solutions and describing the impact of new solutions to systems and processes.
• Supporting mission & business critical applications in Network Systems covering provisioning and service qualification domain.
• Playing a critical role in aligning teams on the Agile Release Train (ART) to a shared technical direction and partners with those teams in elaborating the Solution and its interfaces, validating technology assumptions, evaluating implementation alternatives, and creating the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
• Participating in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre- and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt events.
• Participating in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and explore solution alternatives
• Architecting/Developing complex application migrations to the North Star technology platforms aligning with the SOE/SRE standards.
• Creating, leading, shaping and executing programs with initiatives to process optimization and modern technology adoption to create higher value for the business.
• Defining reusable components/frameworks, common schemas, standards to be used & tools to be used and helping bootstrap the Service qualification team.
• Reviewing design to make sure design is aligned with the North Star Architecture.
• Creating architectures and designs for new solutions around existing and new problem space.
• Driving Technology and with best software engineering practices to impact on the entire architecture eco-system of the product.
• Participating in code reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions.
• Working with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level Solution Intent, and the solution intent information models and documentation requirements.
Where you ll be working In this hybrid role, youll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.What we re looking for.Youll need to have:
• Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in Network Domain.
• Experience in designing and building complex, enterprise-grade Java-based architectural solutions.
• Experience in providing solutions / Architecture for Modernization / Migration projects.
• Experience in developing and optimizing server architectures.
• Experience in Java/ J2EE technologies, SpringBoot microservices, Angular/React/Redux.
• Experience in SQL/NoSQL databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL.
• Experience in JUnit/TestNG, DevOps tool chain, Maven, Solaris/UNIX.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies - AWS cloud or docker containers -Kubernetes (K8S).
• Knowledge of SRE, Logging framework, VMB/MQ.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
• A Master degree.
• Experience in systems design and project management.
• Experience in coding, drive teams through massive refactoring exercises and improve coding standards across large code bases.
• Experience in object oriented programming, SOA, modular code development, design patterns, multi-threading.
• Experience in the North Star Technology stack aligning to microservices based architecture and SOE currencies.
• Knowledge of contribution to industry forums (e.g., ETSI, TMForum, MEF).
• Knowledge of wireline networks and services (e.g., private and public IP, switched Ethernet, MNS, private line wave).
