Job Description

Proces instructor - Main Assembly, Test IN, Chennai | Skilled Worker / Semi-Skilled Worker | Full-Time | ID: 12250Vestas is the world leader in wind technology and a driving-force in the development of the wind power industry. Vestas core business comprises the development, manufacture, sale, marketing and maintenance of Wind Turbines. Come and Join us at Vestas!Manufacturing & Global Procurement, Converters & Controls, Converter Factory Oragadam This position is a part of Converter Production Responsibilities

  • Test operator, Pretest (leak test & high voltage test), I/O Test - Burn in
  • Trouble shooting if / when there is a stoppage
  • Quality - Perform QCP according to Q - Instruction
  • Perform quality check at SUB assembly line and Main line
  • Feedback to operators - learning loop
  • PI - train colleagues in test and QCP as peer to peer / On the job training
  • Follow the test program, work instructions and all other procedures
  • Be a role model
Qualifications
  • Diploma in electrical and electronics engineering
  • Experience in testing
  • Read and understand electrical diagrams
  • Experience in LOTO
  • Risk assessment and Identify correct PPE
  • Effectively trained colleagues in the past / previous companies
  • 5S at a high level
Competencies
  • Read, write and speak English
  • Able to handle many tasks at the same time
  • Steady and calm
