Dear CandidatesProcess Engineer Vacuum Heat Treatment for Vallam SIPCOT - Oragadam,chennaiHeat Treatment Planning Checking DC of customer for grade of steel, quantity, dimensions, end use oftool, hardness requirements etc. Inspect the tool for surface defects if any, weighing and informing the customerswhether to proceed or not. In case of geometrical differences of tool, Inspect the tool prone to crack ordistortion and informing to the customer for further proceedings. Record the details in the job incoming register fill up the identification tags,stacking the tools on the incoming racks and preparing identifications tags. Taking care of tool cleaning && dryingHeat Treatment Process Taking care of tools in stress relieving after machining and before heat treatment. Selection of tools for the heat treatment batch. Preparation of route cards with relevant details Selection of soaking time and temperature based on tool grade, size, hardnessrequired etc. Arrangement of tools on SS-grits and SS-baskets Preparation of log sheets Monitor the process parameters ramp, soaking temp and time as per VHT logbook, records and the details in route card. Taking care of tempering activities on step by step basis.Local Purchase Activities Procurement of Spares for Related to Machinery to avoid the Break Downs. Follow up && Maintaining the Failure Samples Reports from External LabActivities. Coordinating with Local Spares Suppliers in terms of Cost && Delivery.Other activities Logging of HT daily activities Coordinating with customers for dispatch details Coordinating with the customers for the technical data like required hardness, endprocess, material stock after hardening for grinding. Preparation of Inspection report. Holding the material dispatch until receiving outstanding details from the accountsdepartment.
