We bring an emotional component in everyday life through the concept of total user experience: a combination of innovative, carefully designed, high quality products, and smart, useful, friendly services.Job Summary: VAYA is looking for a Product Engineer who will be responsible for converting the design specifications into product specifications and oversee the product performance over its life cycle.The Product Engineer will work hand in hand with the Designer, Design Engineer and the test team to complete the design and development loop.Key Qualifications: Strong Analytical and problem solving skills is a must. Should be familiar with DFM and DFA concepts. Knowledge of Accelerated test methods is preferred. Should be able to understand FEA and interpret simulation results. Fair understanding of Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is preferred. Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to work in a dynamic start up environment where there is strong focus on solving problems and developing great products. Experience with consumer goods and electronics is preferred. Fluency in English is a must and Travel is required. Description: Act as a liaison between Design and Manufacturing in meeting the design intent and the desired product performance. Oversee the tolerance stack up and work with the manufacturing team to fix the manufacturing and assembly problems. Should create test specifications and be involved in product testing and evaluate pass/ fail criteria. Create necessary product documentation like handling, repair, service and labelling information. Responsible for creation of DVVP and DVPR and should have a knowledge of product development cycle. Be a part of the core engineering team participating in product safety reviews , Design verification and validation. Should understand the design language and intent and be capable of converting them into a workable design. ,
