Job Description

    Role Purpose The purpose of the role is to perform manual and automated teststo ensure that product created is as per client expectations and qualitystandards. Do Perform testing of product software as per the givenrequirements and specifications Develop complete understanding of product functionality andrequirements Collaborate with development team and test leads to understandthe products inputs shared by clients Involve in creating a product-wide Test plan and get it reviewedby product and development team Develop and execute test cases/Scenarios to test the accuracyand stability of software applications Documents test results as per the standards Understand the tools used for test reporting, test management,test automation, etc. Log the defects properly and ensure that the testing is done asper the test plans Responsible for Installation Testing, System Testing,Performance Testing and UAT Testing Ensure that all defects are resolved and signed off in thedefined timelines Support risk mitigation plans if in case any delays are foreseen Monitor the test progress and check if there might be any delaysin achieving the schedule Present the timely testing status to the concerned stakeholders& managers Stakeholder Interaction Stakeholder Type Stakeholder Identification Purpose of Interaction Internal RO Team Client/ Account Requirements, Status updates, Issue Resolutions etc. Development Team For work coordination and support in providing testing solutions Product Manager Brief about the development of the Product, Test Plans Display Lists the competencies required to perform this role effectively: Functional Competencies/ Skill Domain/Industry Knowledge Awareness and knowledge of broadeconomic, demographic, technological and global trends within ownecosystem Expert Market Intelligence Deep specialized understanding of theecosystem practice, overall market & competition and nuances ofdelivery in that domain Master Leveraging Technology In-depth knowledge of and mastery overecosystem technology that commands expert authority respect Master Technical knowledge Complete understanding of softwaresystems installation, Testing Software and Tools, Quality Assurance andStandards- Expert Competency Levels Foundation Knowledgeable about the competency requirements. Demonstrates (inparts) frequently with minimal support and guidance. Competent Consistently demonstrates the full range of the competency withoutguidance. Extends the competency to difficult and unknown situations aswell. Expert Applies the competency in all situations and is serves as a guide toothers as well.
