Job Description

Role DescriptionTriaging incidents with emphasis on restoring service to normalcy quickly as well as accurate Root Cause Analysis in Production Environments ( that has complex applications architecture, high visibility applications, multiple support teams involved ) in order to prevent Incidents from reoccurring in the environment and impact analysisWill be involved in building out new application server environments, Data Center Migration projects that involve environment build outs, getting loadbalancing configuration changes implemented from peer groups, Application deployments and Monitor ImplementationsEnvironment Availability managementImplementing changes in Production EnvironmentSplunk AdministrationAutomationsDocumentation (Technical steps and process involved)Job Requirements: Required Skills and Experience Atleast 2.5 yrs into Production Support (Incident and Change Management) Candidate Description Candidate should have prior experience and knowledge in following technical areas and competencies. Technical Skills :

  • High - Knowledge of Production Support policies such as Incident Management, Change Management
  • High - Tomcat , Web Sphere Application Server 8.5 Liberty profile, Iplanet , XtremeScale , Messagebroker
  • High Udeploy , CICD concepts
  • High Agile methodologies Scrum, Sprint
  • High - Unix basics knowledge Linux
  • High - Usage of monitoring tools such as SiteScope, Coradiant, Gomez, Splunk
  • Medium Splunk administration
  • Medium Usage knowledge of Docker, Nginix, Jenkins, Nexus / artifactory
  • Medium WSO2 (Enterprise Service Bus)
  • Medium Cloud knowledge (REST API s, Chef, AWS)
  • Medium - Knowledge of loadbalancing systems such as BigIP, 3DNS
