We are the team that manages the Monetization function for Amazon Appstore and Amazons Fire TV and Fire Tablet devices. The Appstore team leverages Amazon s experience in retail, technology, digital content, customer trust, and mobile services to build a world-class Appstore experience. Devices are becoming increasingly sophisticated and pervasive, and they are enabling customers to access content, applications, and services anywhere. The right candidate will be involved in end to end program reviews, weekly metrics review, identify business use cases based on trends and patterns, handle stakeholder escalations and risk management.A day in the lifeAs a Program Manager you will; Scope and deliver business-critical initiatives with end-to-end ownership of program and impact metrics. You and the team will document requirements, write clear and detailed comparative analysis, requirement and/or functional specifications, and drive delivery of projects in close collaboration with other team members or cross Org. Influences roadmap priorities, and decisions to drive operational process improvements and system enhancements that could increase quality of our process and metrics Identify and champion process improvement metrics knowing what, when and how to track Provide subject matter expertise to Appstore stakeholders and represent escalations on goals and metrics. Work with the program management teams to address risks/ issues as required. Play a vital role in helping us meet our daily goals while protecting our high-quality customer experience. Work closely with the broader Amazon team to triage, address, and resolve issues. Audit assumptions and drive change with data-driven analysis and decision-making.About the hiring groupAs Program Manager, you will own end-to-end project & process delivery for Appstore Fraud and Abuse prevention projects and coordinate across multiple cross-functional and globally-based teams to make things happen. You and your team will deliver results when faced with ambiguous circumstances and roadblocks. Work closely with the broader Amazon team to triage, address, and resolve issues.Audit assumptions and drive change with data-driven analysis and decision-making., 3+ years content evaluation, mobile application, or similar experience in a technology, digital media industry or equivalent field. Digital Media, Technology, eCommerce, Retail, and /or Mobile industry experience. Bachelor s degree with concentration in Business, Risk Management, Information Technology or Computer Science (or other technical field). Program and People manager with 2+ years of experience managing complex projects with technical teams, aggressive schedules and scarce resources. Demonstrated experience and success at leading cross functional programs and validated ability to influence and lead without direct management authority; in or with Operations teams. Effectively manage dependencies and bottlenecks, provide escalations management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business need versus technical constraints and minimize business benefit while building great customer experience. Excellent communication skills, oral and written. Experience communicating effectively across a multitude of platforms with remote team membersExperience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement. Master s degree; Concentrations in Communications, Marketing, Business, Risk Management or Computer Science (or other technical field) preferred Content evaluation, mobile application, and/or brand management experience. A passion for technology, digital media, pop culture, eCommerce, the Internet and the mobile/voice market segment. Meticulous attention to detail; the ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering your quality bar. Self-motivation and a strong bias for action; the ability to independently hit aggressive productivity goals with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively partner with internal team members as well as external stakeholders. Street smarts; willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals. Experience in testing consumer facing software products or Android devices will be a plus.Knowledge of Mobile industry experience a plus
