Give technical assistance to the designers whenever required in accordance with concerned discipline Check the Designers work for accuracy, layout, quality and completeness including a random soft check of the database Develop a backup to maintain the robustness of the drafting team Chair weekly meetings with the Designers working on the project, produce brief notes of the meeting Generate project specific designer instructions Communicate with the counterpart / client instantly and effectively for resolution Check the Designers work for accuracy, layout, quality and completeness including a random soft check of the database Advise Chief Design Engineer for individual Designer training needs Analyze the observations of the audits through trend charts and prepare the plan of action to set the process to eliminate the most occurring observation Capture the changes in various project are monitored (ex. for the number of passes) and raise change flag Conduct Technical meeting and discuss about best practices, quality issues with the leads of the project engineering discipline Challenge the inconsistencies on mark- ups. Raise queries with respective project engineer Capture the MMQ details and share the error types, its impact, mitigation methods Collects lessons learnt details from various projects and share the information with the drafting team Audit the project designer s deliverables Skill Set: Should have worked at least in 2 EPC / FEED projects as a lead designer / CAD coordinator Familiar in drafting software used in engineering industry Have thorough knowledge of PID technical details Engineering tools proficiency in the following drafting platform5 Should be able to use database management system Project wise Smart Plant P&ID / Micro station / AutoCAD / Smart sketch ,
