This transformation has gone through a step of blueprint/masterplan and is now moving to detailed preparation and implementation phase.The candidate will work for a sub-project of this larger program, as part of a small team dedicated to performance engineering and testing. The performance stakes of this project are significant, and a close project management and follow-up is required because of the number of application teams involved.ResponsibilitiesDirect Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate with technical resources (especially with testing team & Development Tech lead & Infrastructure teams) during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Manage projects with top-down oversight to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • In charge of structuring and maintaining project management documentation as well reporting files/dashboard and KPIs.
  • Perform risk management to identify risks and come up with a mitigation plan.
  • Communicate proactively with all project team members to identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Report regularly to Program PMO with progress, risks, issues and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure consistency between Performance study findings and planning circulated/discussed with asset stakeholders.
  • Act as curator for mitigation identification should performance results not comply with WMIS or Program standards.
Contributing Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with following roles
    • Performance Tests/Engineers: to plan the work of the central team and solve risks/issues
    • Test Leads: to review and define performance test plans
    • Program Stream leads: to coordinate the contribution of application teams
    • Program Management office: to report on the progress on performance topics, highlight planning and/or technical risks
Technical & Behavioral CompetenciesMandatory
  • 10+ years of overall experience in IT
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment with no direct reporting with the contributing teams, and promoting teamwork
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and the integration of testing within it
Plus
  • High level knowledge on Performance testing such as Load, Stress and Endurance tests
  • Software development, or testing experience
  • Banking experience
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
