Job Description

    The Project Manager should have a detailed understanding on the scope of the project and should effectively manage the same - The PM will be responsible for preparing the detailed work breakdown in coordination with the tech lead and business analyst - Prepare detailed schedules for the project based on the scope and get the approval from relevant stakeholders - Should take complete ownership of the project budget - Ensure quality deliverables within the approved schedule and budget - Document technical specifications for custom development as and when needed - Maintain a risk register and review it frequently to ensure that the risks are effectively captured and responded to - The PM should have a good aptitude in arriving at team composition - Advanced judgement and decision-making capabilities are expected from this position - Provide periodic project updates to senior management and clients by means of effective and engaging presentations. - Work with Project team to understand and prioritize project deliveries based on the priorities set by the product owner andor customer - The project manager should be the go to person for each member of team and should act as an effective mentor to his team Key Requirements : - Proven expertise in Project Planning and Execution using industry standard project management tools - Expertise in project cost management and budgeting - Experience in handling projects in one or more cloud platforms. Should have executed one full project implementation in one of the cloud platforms - Should have experience in handling projects using both Agile and Waterfall Methodologies - Should be an excellent team player with very good communication and collaboration skills - Expertise in Stakeholder Management, with excellent negotiation skills - Minimum 7 years of overall experience in the IT industry (with a minimum of 2 years experience as a project manager) Good to Have : - Experience in delivering SaaS applications - Prior experience in banking industry is an added advantage Role: IT Project Manager Industry Type: IT Services & Consulting Department: Project & Program Management Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Category: Technology / IT Education UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization, B.Sc in Any Specialization, BCA in Any Specialization PG: Any Postgraduate Doctorate
