  • Create accurate effort estimates for larger and complex projects and reviews the estimates prepared by lead tester for smaller projects
  • Ensure Software Solutions process compliance
  • Forecast resource requirement and efforts for forthcoming projects.
  • Interact with QA and development resources for requirement clarification, status communication, forecasting and prioritization of work.
  • Allocate work to resources based on capability and availability so as to maintain optimal resource utilization.
  • Reviews test plans and test strategy documents in a way that identifies gaps/errors to the maximum extent possible.
  • Monitor, follows-up and review work progress, so as to ensure that delivery is on time, within the budget and adheres to prescribed quality norms
  • Resolve issues and perform comprehensive reviews at various stages of the project so as to identify and minimize deviations from schedule and quality. Report periodically on status to management.
  • Perform root cause analysis of defects; recommend and implement comprehensive defect prevention processes for the assigned product/s or projects so as to achieve reduction in defects.
  • Participate in other functional activities and define and improve processes for the Organization.
  • Create Project plan and project strategy
  • Preparing of functional / technical specifications, wherever applicable
  • Code review and unit test case review for critical development items
  • Manage, guide and motivate the team to produce results. Is responsible for performance appraisals, career path guidance, training, and conflict resolution within the team
  • Vendor management
  • Stakeholder management
  • Change control management
Specific Skills:
  • Banking Compliance domain knowledge
  • Technical skills (specifically PLSQL/ODI/EDQ/OFSAA product knowledge) would be an added advantage
Experience: 10 18 years,
