Job Description

    Project Manager (Defence Electronics)Qualification:Should be BE (ECE) / BE (EEE) / BE (E&I) or Equivalent. Certification in Project Management (PMP) desirable.Experience:11-17 years of relevant experience.Age:Between 30-40 years.Rank and branch from Services :Major/Lt Col from Signals/EME ,Lt Cdr/ Cdr from Electrical branch,Sqn Ldr/Wg Cdr from AE(L) branchMandatory Experience in Services:(Should have worked in the following units over the service experience)Base workshops/Base Repair depots/DockyardsArmy/Naval/Air Headquarters in DelhiProject Management OrganizationsBrief Job Responsibilities for Project Manager:Project planning, Scheduling and Costing.Organization of Project team.Management of Project budget and resources.Project tracking and control.Reviews at all stages in project Development Life Cycle (PDLC).Co-ordination among all departments to achieve commitments against project goals of cost, schedule and quality.Customer co-ordination.Project review and reporting to Head Delivery.Project closure and handover to PDN after proper review.Verifying other departments resources for adequacy for supporting project and supporting change actions.Support to Head Delivery for information support and researchTechnical Skills:Defense Electronics System.Sound background in digital and analog hardware systems.Knowledge in Environment specification.Knowledge in software engineering, failure analysis. Awareness of C, C+ + and VC+ + Programming.Configuration management, defect prevention, QA systems ISO 9000.Exposure to Project Planning methods and tools, estimation methods and tools, project performance evaluation methods and tools, presentation tools, MS Project, MS officeLocation - Chennai
