Proposal Manager Position Summary : Savvysoft Technologies is seeking a versatile Proposal Writer to review/update written content for IT proposal, SOW, contract, legal and financial document review/update/management. Should work with multiple clients, internal stakeholders and deliver final products independently. The incumbent will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible balancing organization objectives, mitigation of risks and customer satisfaction.Location: Chennai / Shift : Afternoon/Night shift onlyJob Responsibilities :- Develop responses to RFP/RFQ primarily in the area of SaaS applications and IT Consulting Services- Implementing positive marketing initiatives for our growing company- Source procurement opportunities- Lead the preparation and submission of winning proposals- Work with team members to respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), statement of qualifications (SOQs)- Manage the proposal development process to ensure on-time delivery of compelling, compliant, and well-written proposals- Conduct pre-proposal and post-proposal presentations, demos- Manage security assessments and questionnaires for new and existing accounts- Manage Statements of Work (SOW) and contracts for new and existing accounts- Keep the team informed of changes and generate creative ideas while working both independently and collaboratively- Coordinate information and tasks with departments in the company- Gather information from clients, and other partners or vendors to accurately determine projected costs and fees- Prepare a written proposal to communicate our companys ability to effectively meet the projects needs at a reasonable price- Communicate all necessary liabilities and costs of proposed contracts to management- Work with management and other departments to determine proper bid pricing- Maintain, augment and improve library of reusable components, templates, and processes to reduce response time and improve quality on future proposals- Manages proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target datesRequirements :- Bachelors Degree or combination of education and equivalent work experience- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience writing and editing proposal content on SaaS applications and IT Consulting services.- Tech/Software/IT industry Experience- Experience in researching, writing, and producing a high volume of client-facing documentation on behalf of our company in support of an array of our software and consulting services- Exhibit strong writing skills, excellent attention to detail, thrive in a fast-past environment, be able to track multiple ongoing projects and responsibilities simultaneously- Demonstrated understanding of federal and commercial acquisition processes that guide proposal development requirements- Ability to answer questions directly and honestly while still having a marketing mindset- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe- Superior written and verbal communication skills in the English language- Highly organized, detailed oriented, and display strong time-management skills- Ability to work well under pressure, meeting tight, multiple, and sometimes conflicting deadlines- Ability to set priorities and multi-task- Ability to think strategically, apply sound judgment, be resourceful, troubleshoot, and take initiative- Be self-motivated and able to work with limited supervisionPreferred Qualifications : APMP Certification or Equivalent Proposal Writing Certifications (ref:updazz.com)
