Job Description

    Urgent Hiring for a Purchase Executive with a leading Gear manufacturing company in Chennai.QUALIFICATION: D.M. E / B.E(Mechanical)EXPERIENCE: 5 Years Experience in Manufacturing Industries,Handling machined parts.Skills Required:
    • Product costing knowledge
    • Should have strong Knowledge on Machining process and handling Machined parts.
    • Vendor negotiation, Product cost estimation, Vendor management.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Efficiently manage MRP functionality and ensure timely sourcing of materials.
    • Release purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
    • Ensure material quality, cost, and compliance with company policies.
    • Collaborate with quality control to clear incoming materials for production.
    • Negotiate cost reductions and monitor supplier trends for opportunities.
    • Work with suppliers on quality and delivery improvements.
    • Identify and resolve supplier issues through corrective actions.
    • Maintain records, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.
    • Ensure material availability to prevent production line stoppages.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHA regulations.

    • Should have a good experience in handling the following products.
    • Bought out Machined components, Bought out materials.
