QA Engineer Location: Chennai EXP: 5 to 8 yrs Responsible for test planning, prepare testing deliverables and test execution of one or more applications. Responsible for providing a daily status on all the QA tasks and report the progress to QA Lead. Follow the testing processes, Artefacts and standards established by QA- TCoE. Responsibilities: 1. Experience in functional and System Integration testing. 2. Experience working with Users and supporting UAT testing. 3. Experience in translating requirement into detailed test plans and test cases. 4. Experience in core Banking Applications5. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans. 6. Maintains documentation of test results. 7. Ability to utilize standardized testing methods, tools and procedures are used to ensure testing is efficient, effective and comprehensive. 8. Ability to prioritize the work with aggressive deadlines. 9. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and outstanding attention to detail. Soft Skills and other requirements: 1. At least 5- 8 years experience in Quality Assurance2. 5 years experience in banking domain3. Experience in Core Banking/ Online Banking/ Customer or Account Onboarding/ Maintenance4. Knowledge in SQL queries and database is an added advantage5. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills6. Knowledge and understanding of SDLC and Agile/ Waterfall methodologies7. Knowledge and understanding of desktop and Windows server operating systems8. Self- Initiated and motivated team player and a quick learner9. Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering/ Science (4 yr. degree) ,
