The radiographer shall greet the customers and explain the procedure.Shall conduct the tests as per the technical SOP of the parent department.X-rays shall be taken for all the male customers as a routine; whereas for female customers the pregnancy status shall be ruled out before taking the X-ray; when in doubt clearance shall be obtained from the medical officers or the gynecologist.If an x-ray needs to be taken on a pregnant woman, lead shield protection to be provided as per the technical SOP of Radiology departmentWhenever a female guest is handled by Male radiographers they should ensure a female staff is present for guiding and positioning the female guestTo periodically check the AHC daily list and ensure all eligible guests are serviced within a stipulated time.To ensure x-rays are pushed in to PACs.To ensure x-ray request slips are counted and given to radiologist for reporting.Radiographers shall be responsible for ensuring all the x-rays and ultrasound reports are duly reported by the Radiologist.To ensure that reports are typed by HCF and signed and released on time to the backoffice.General responsibilities To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.To be aware of departments performance and objective.To carryout data collection/support in data collection.To adhere to the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient and staff safety rules.To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior.,
