Job Description

    Responsibilities:
    • Install new refrigerators according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in refrigerators, including but not limited to compressor issues, refrigerant leaks, electrical faults, and temperature control problems.
    • Perform routine maintenance on refrigerators to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
    • Repair or replace defective components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, and door seals.
    • Recharge refrigerant in refrigeration systems following environmental regulations and safety procedures.
    • Keep accurate records of all service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.
    • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers, explaining repair options, and addressing their concerns.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
    • Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in refrigerator repair and maintenance.
    Key Skills:
    • Proficient in the installation and servicing of refrigerators.
    • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
    • Knowledge of refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and refrigerants.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Valid drivers license.
    Qualifications:
    • ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a related field.
    • 0-3 years of experience in refrigerator repair and maintenance.
    • EPA certification (preferred).
