Job Description

    Industrial Relations Strategy
    • Visit Geography and conduct random audit .
    • Understand the challenges at all locations, evaluate capabilities of 3PL and work on corrective action plan in order to avoid any IR Scenario.
    • Coordinate and attend the crisis along with other stake holders for resolution of disputes.
    • Supervise and Monitor IR for Geography and ensure execution of guidelines with respect to proactive Industrial relations.
    • Setup a review mechanism at State and Regional Level to ensure 100% compliance and dispute free work environment.
    • Design & evolve local Industrial relations plan basis and external environment, coordinate & provide oversight to circle for implementation as per NHQ guidelines.
    • Follow a Proactive IR Management strategy to identify potential IR risks to the business and put mitigating mechanisms in place at the circle level.
    • Liaise with Legal Advisors/ consultants for conducting on-going labor related due diligence of new site.
    IR & Compliance Management
    • Interpret applicable laws, derive implication vendors and identify compliance requirement/ risks from IR standpoint
    • Litigation handling and notice closure.
    • Ensure compliance with all Labor Laws by 3PL liaising with statutory and civil authorities from time to time.
    • Ensure timely fulfilment of statutory compliances by 3PL under various acts i.e. CLRA, ESI, PF, Shops and Establishment act, Payment of Bonus act, Payment of Gratuity act, Minimum wages act and Payment of wages act etc.
    • Facilitate support to 3PL with external stakeholders (labour inspector etc.) for statutory compliance requirement from NHQ.
    • Liaise with circle / regional team to gather required data for compliance requirement as needed by NHQ.
    • Resolve the workmen compensation matters with the help of respective labour department and our IR lead.
    Employee Relations & IR Management
    • Stakeholder Management and Negotiations.
    • Manage relationship with all critical stakeholders in the IR value, employees, State, business etc.
    • Introduction of NAPS in 3PL operations.
    • Intelligence management to understand shop floor work & IR environment & breakdown handling
    • Manage closure change over and migration
    • Discipline and Governance
      • Provide ongoing advice to Geography IR team and 3PL employees on risk mitigation, 100% compliance and handling IR issues.
      • Facilitate grievance handling process with the view of ensuring industrial harmony and positive discipline
      People Happiness
      • Ensure observance to highest standards of Health & Safety norms on 3PL Sites.
      • Training & awareness for POSH and social security benefits.
      • Employee engagement activities
      • Welfare measures as applicable and ensure basic amenities.
      Identify and appropriately escalate any Health and Safety issue
