Job Description

To monitor the work of senior resident / resident.
To handle OPD work independently.
To handle ENT emergencies, perform emergency Tracheostomy when required.
To supervise all ward work and documentation of records.
To perform surgeries Tonsillectomy, Septoplasty, SMR, Tracheostomy, Myringotomy, Microlaryngoscopy, Esophageoscopy, Tympanoplasty under supervision.
To assist in specialized operations like FESS, Mastordectomy, Thyroiddectomy, Paroidectomy, etc.
To participate in presentation / publication of articles in national meeting / journals
To attend to ward calls and emergencies day or night.
To participate and contribute to the departmental quality initiatives
To be aware of departments performance and objective
To carry out data collection / support in data collection
To adhere the safety norms of the hospital, follow both patient, and staff safety rules
To perform any task / job as and when assigned by the superior
