• To establish, manage and control the Production activities in the factory, in order to obtain the best results in Quality, Lead-Time, Cost and Delivery of products required by the Projects and fulfil the clients satisfaction in-line corporate guidelines and site priorities.
• To lead continuous improvement in his Department
• To lead budget review in beating their SQCD commitments

Responsibilities
• Planning and monitoring the Production activities of the plant.
• Driving operational excellence for the plant to achieve optimum utilisation of people, machines and materials
• Managing aspects of Quality and EHS
• Leading a team of experienced professionals and being accountable for their development
• Managing internal and external stakeholders to successfully deploy best-practices to reach world-class excellence in Production; implementation of lean Manufacturing
• To initiate measures and training of production personnel for augmenting people productivity in coordination with HR.
• To initiate measures for reducing manufacturing costs for competitive advantage
• To participate in the investment/budget planning.
• To maintain a safe working environment for employees and sub-contractors in-line with company EHS policy
• To ensure that the function is resourced adequately, in terms of number of people and skills
• To manage performance and development of direct reports
Knowledge & Skills
• BE (Mechanical) with 15 to 18 years experience in Heavy Engineering Industry (Preference will be given to train industry).
• Knowledge and understanding of production processes including assembly, looming, welding, painting etc.
