Job designation: Senior/Junior data scientistSalary: Based on fit and experienceJob Responsibilities:1. Collaborate with senior data scientists in translating high level client requirements to animplementable mathematical framework2. Assist in modeling complex client problems and identifying opportunities usingstatistical, algorithmic and visualization techniques3. Implement and test the devised algorithms in either Python or R4. Create technical reports and executive summaries on the work done5. Participate in development of in-house tools and libraries to assist other data scientistsand developersJob Requirements:a) Qualifications: M. Tech / M. S in Chemical /Computer Science/ Electrical /Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution preferable. B. Tech in Chemical /Electrical /Computer Science / Mechanical Engineering from reputed institutions (withexcellent technical skills) will also be considered. Excellent candidates from otherengineering disciplines will also be considered.b) Supporting technical abilities: Understanding of linear algebra / machine learning techniques Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languageso Pythono R Knowledge of an additional programming language such as C,C++,Java or MatLab isdesirable Proficiency in use of version control tools is desirable Technically sound, strong mathematical skills Ability to work with a project mind set clear articulation of client needs,understanding of project scope and deliverables, ability to deliver on time with nocompromise on qualityc) Supporting soft skills: Excellent communication skills (both written & oral) Good interpersonal skills , ability to work independently and in team environments Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to pursue exploratory projects Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines Travel as needed to support business needs Strong prioritization and time management skills Willingness to take on new responsibilities as our business evolvesWhat to expect:At GDPL, we welcome new comers who bring fresh ideas and participate in providingsolutions to clients within the framework of the defined problem.
