Job Description

As a Materials Research Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and developing new products, enhancing product performance, collaborating with process teams, and ensuring smooth process implementation at manufacturing plants.Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop new products based on business needs.- Study existing product designs and develop new concepts.- Improve product design to enhance performance and functionality.- Understand product applications and customer needs.- Collaborate with process teams to scale up production processes and optimize.- Apply expertise in materials research to drive improvements and innovations.- Troubleshoot product-related issues and implement effective solutions.- Scale up new products and processes in plants.- Utilize statistical methods to analyze process data and enhance performance.- Ensure global adherence to safety communication and protocols.- Foster collaboration within the R&D team and process teams for a productive environment.- Demonstrate agility in adapting to new challenges and environments.- Travel frequently to various locations, including international travel, based on requirements.- Spend significant time on-site at manufacturing plants to ensure smooth process implementation and operation.Qualifications:- PhD / ME MTECH in Material Science with a Mechanical background.- 5-8 years of relevant experience in product development.- Strong understanding of product design and development methodology.- Proficiency in statistical analysis and problem-solving.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.- Willingness to travel frequently and spend time at plant locations.Preferred Skills:- Experience in Insulation materials, especially Mineral Wools.- Familiarity with New Product Development methodology.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.,
