Job Description

nullFinance BPEJob location: ChennaiIn this role, you have the opportunity toAs a Record to Report Process Expert, you will drive the process transformation within the RTR domain, provide expertise to support the operational teams, drive continuous improvement and monitor the performance of the RTR operations.You are responsible forProcess Ownership

  • The RTR BPE will be the owner of a number of sub processes within the RTR domain (MEC, MJV, BSAR etc), the related controls, directives and the tooling.
  • The RTR BPE is expected to define the roadmaps for his processes and initiate initiatives to deliver the roadmap
  • Together with the RTR BPO and the RTR Ops team, the RTR BPE will drive a number of process transformations; examples include MEC optimization, touchless close
  • The RTR BPE will drive continuous improvement and ensure that the processes remain compliant with the local / fiscal regulations
  • The RTR BPE will ensure that the right and adequate controls are embedded in his processes
Monitoring of operational performance
  • The RTR BPE will monitor the performance of the operations and execute oversight controls to ensure the right quality is delivered
  • The RTR BPE will drive process adherence and use the input to drive continuous improvement
The RTR BPE will set the KPIs for the sub processes, monitor performance and drive initiatives to ensure the KPIs are deliveredYou are a part ofYou will be part of Philips Domestic Appliances Finance RTR organization. You will report functionally to the Finance Record to Report BPO and work closely with the Global Finance teams and the 3rd party service providersTo succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • University degree in Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 6 years of progressive work experience in area of Record2Report.
  • SAP knowledge (FI, CO module)
  • Project Management skills with positive result driven attitude
  • Highly developed analytical capabilities, with a strong business and customer sense.
  • Effective listening and communication skills, highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and hands on attitude, goal oriented and perseverant.
  • Team oriented and process driven.
  • Fluent communication skills in English (both oral and written) is required.
