Job Description

    Job Purpose The incumbent will be responsible for developing, analyzing and communicating sales information like Pipeline, Forecast,and identifying opportunities to improve forecast and pipeline management in Syngene. This includes working closely with Sales Leaders, Lines of Businesses, Marketing, Finance and Planning Functions across all regions driving improvement opportunities based on fact-based analyses. Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with the Sales Operations team and pro-actively identify, develop and communicate Sales Operations metric improvements like sales performance, trend analysis, Win/loss analysis based on pricing and other factors.
    • Sales team effectiveness - Quote-to-close time, Sales per Representative, Business Closure Target allocation and phasing for each sales team member
    • Building Forecasting Tools and Techniques : Sales Forecasting model; integration with PM scheduling for confirmed order; forecasting tool for business closure pipeline to Sales
    • Prepare data summaries necessary to present data for review by the Sales Management, Senior Management and other requesting departments. This includes but is not limited to new and existing Salesforce dashboards, Tableau Visualizations, Business Scorecards and compilations of the same for presentations.
    • Support the design, development, and implementation of new and enhanced reporting requests by facilitating meetings to analyze and document user requirements as related to Enterprise Reporting.
    • Co-operate directly with Sales Leaders, LOBs, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Planning functions globally, providing technical support and problem resolution assistance for reporting and process issues.
    • Develop a market model for estimating demand.
    • Other responsibilities will include:
    • Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
    • Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are imparted via training and adhered within the team.
    Educational Qualification:
    • Candidate should have a minimum of bachelor s degree ; statistical science background
    Technical/functional Skills:
    • 3+ years of experience with Business Intelligence Reporting and/or Sales Operations experience
    • SFDC experience
    • + 3+ Experience with Tableau desktop including certification or equivalent
    • + 3+ years of experience working with large data sets and databases including SQL experience .
    • Knowledge of Statistical tool and predictive analytics on customer behaviour, Sales trends
    • Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices.
    Experience:
    • Candidate should have 7-8 years overall experience with at least 3 to 5 years in Sales Analytics and Planning and candidate should preferably have an understanding of Life Sciences domain.
    Behavioral Skills:
    • Candidate should possess good analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively document technical material for technical as well as non-technical, personnel.
    • Candidate must also have a strong attention to detail, work well within a team of analysts and collaborate with individuals with technical and non-technical backgrounds.
    • Candidate should possess leadership skills.
    • Candidate should possess excellent communication skills with inherent ability to articulate and express complicated matters in simple terms.
    • The incumbent will be part of a small team with the requirement to influence across the organization. Hence, influencing skills will be very important.
    • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision-making capability.
    • Ability to exercise good judgement in various situations with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
    • Experience in relevant role in a large corporate or from a reputed company.
