- A company with a solid track record of success- Our client was formally launched in 1996 when Gunit Singla decided to give up a lucrative career in advertising and join hands with her Sheraton Chef husband Samir Singla and set up what was to become Chennais number one Party and Wedding Catering Brand.The Job : Your responsibilities will include :- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media- Answer telephone and respond to caller inquiries in a pleasant manner.- Answer client/bookers questions about food services (e.g., hours of operation, rates packages, etc.)- Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.- Responsible for coordinating internally with the sales & marketing team.- Generating reports, preparing proposals, collecting details, and coordinating with clients & suppliers.- Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, banquet event order- Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g. brochures, promotional materials, sales demo kit, welcome kit, souvenir, etc.).- To print FPs and placards and sent them with every order- Call client for feedback/tips and update on HC- training- Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems.- Coordinating Finance for Advance, Payment Receipt, and Excess Billing.- Daily reports as per Management requirements. - Other duties as assigned by the Director of sales or the management.Ideal Candidate : Education : Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.Experience : 2 - 5 years of sales and marketing or related professional area.- Excellent customer service and sales skills.- Strong verbal and written communicator.- Excellent phone and presentation skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs.- Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
