Job Description

    In this role you will be working in our growing Sales Enablement team as part of our new GTM Strategy function inside the CRO organization. You ll be working closely alongside cross functional teams and executives to develop and deliver our strategy, and be part of forming a broader new function.Key focus areas:
    • Drive Sales Enablement within Field Enablement across Couchbase
    • Manage members of the Sales Enablement team
    • Working with cross-functional teams including E-Staff
    • Clarity in roles & responsibilities of everyone involved in Sales Enablement
    • Clear alignment of Sales Enablement requirements from all functions
    Success Criteria:
    • Delivery of Sales Enablement Programmes across aligned parts of organization
    • Tracking improvement in business metrics aligned sales performance
    • Achievement of further identified objectives from GTM initiatives
    Role description:
    • Report to the Head of GTM Strategy & Sales Enablement
    • Manage a team of Sales Enablement Specialists and Programme Managers
    • Driving the cross functional teams that coordinate and manage the field onboarding experience
    • Support project delivery across Go-To-Market (GTM) leadership across sales, marketing, business development, operations, product and finance
    • Managing/curating our sales enablement content library to ensure it s of high quality
    • Helping contribute to a strategy focused on quantifying sales enablement s impact.
    • Drive and manage communication plan required to execute against Sales Enablement initiatives
    • Work with the sales leadership team to identify opportunities for enablement and process improvement
    • Coaching/Supporting new jr. Sales Reps on path to success
    • Facilitate alignment of Sales Enablement to workstreams focused on company & technology strategy
    Required capabilities:
    • 5+ years in sales enablement for a Cloud/aaS software company
    • 5+ years of experience in a sales or sales related role (sales rep, SE, SDR)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving experience (corporate strategy, sales/business operations, GTM strategy, or similar)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Fluency in sales tools (e.g. Salesforce, Clari, etc.) & some first hand experience in sales enablement platforms (e.g. Mindtickle, Highspot, etc.)
    • Ability to navigate and coordinate resources across different functions
    • Time consciousness, diligence and able to take initiative
    • Domain expertise in Database technologies an advantage (NoSQL, RDBMS, etc.)
    • Experience with sales and opportunity methodologies such as Value Selling, MEDDIC, Challenger Sale
    • Strong collaborative nature and communication skills to work effectively and efficiently with peers, SME s, leadership, and stakeholders
