Job Description

    Job Title: Channel City Head - Loan Against Property (LAP)Location: ChennaiJob Summary:As the Channel City Head for Loan Against Property (LAP) in Chennai, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing channel partners, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The role involves developing strategies to expand the customer base, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth functioning of LAP operations in the region.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Sales and Business Development:
      • Drive LAP sales through channel partners, DSAs (Direct Selling Agents), and internal teams.
      • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
      • Identify new business opportunities and expand the channel network.
    2. Channel Partner Management:
      • Recruit, train, and manage DSAs and other channel partners.
      • Build strong relationships with partners to ensure consistent business inflow.
      • Monitor partner performance and provide necessary support to enhance productivity.
    3. Team Leadership:
      • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives and relationship managers.
      • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback for team development.
    4. Customer Relationship Management:
      • Ensure excellent customer service and build long-term relationships with clients.
      • Address customer queries and grievances effectively.
    5. Market Analysis and Strategy:
      • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
      • Develop and implement strategies to stay ahead in the competitive LAP market.
    6. Compliance and Risk Management:
      • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
      • Collaborate with credit and risk teams to maintain portfolio quality.
    Key Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields (MBA preferred).
    • 8-12 years of experience in LAP or mortgage loans, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of the LAP market and regulatory environment.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to drive sales and manage teams effectively.
    • Familiarity with financial products, loan processing, and credit assessment.
