This person will be responsible for achieving sales targets for the Control & Automation Products division, and will be required to possess a strong understanding of the automation industry and its products and applications.The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and working closely with other departments to ensure the success of the sales team.Responsibilities:Strong understanding of the automation industry and its products and applications, including experience selling automation control systems such as DCS, PLC, and SCADA.Develop and implement sales strategies for the Control & Automation Products division in the specified region as South India (Chennai) RegionManage key accounts in the region, including maintaining relationships and identifying new business opportunities.Understand the competition in the region, including key players and customer needs and preferences.Achieve sales targets for the region, and monitor performance to identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with other departments, such as product development and engineering, to ensure that the sales team has the necessary support and resources to achieve its goals.Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns that support the sales efforts.Requirements:Bachelors degree in Engineering or Master of Business Administration, or a related field.Min 8-10 years of Sales Business Development experience, with a strong understanding of automation products and applications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPointWillingness to travel across the Specified Region Or AbroadFluency in English is required.
