Job Description

HiThe position is with a client and Indian MNC dedicated to advancing patient care by providing high quality medical device technologies to serve the needs of more patients and healthcare professionals.Position Territory In chargeProduct SuturesLocation -Vijayawada, Delhi, Pune, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Cochin, Chennai, BangaloreRequirement 1Main Purpose of this job is to generate Sales through everyday customer interactions, being present in the operation theatre to discuss the clinical use of our products, achieve secondary sales targets month on month, Conduct Market Development activities with the help of Marketing dept as planned, collect Competitive information and send timely weekly reports, focus product trackers and Expense statementsJob ProfileThe successful candidate will perform the following role:Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieving secondary sales targets month on month ( How- be present in OTs atleast 4 times a week, 4 quality sales calls every day, Key account management, key account profiles for top 5 accounts in the respective territory )
  • Achieving Focus product targets both quantity and value month on month ( How - OT presence- 4times a week, minimum of 4 sales calls per day, collecting data on competitive product usage and types of surgeries performed, product demonstrations, proactive product evaluations )
  • Achieving 100% marketing activities planned for their regions every quarter.
  • Timely reporting of weekly reports and trackers for focus products.
  • Primary sales responsibility
  • Managing direct reports by spending time with them on the field and leading by example. Be seen as a coach and mentor
Qualification & SkillsScience or Engineering Graduate . Additional education in business management/marketing will be an added advantage
  • Clinical selling aptitude desirable
  • Excellent Communication skills with good hold over the English knowledge
  • 5-8years prior work experience in sales Sutures /Surgicals/Medical Devices
  • Selling experience with ortho surgeons/ gyneac surgeons/general surgeons/ CTVS
  • Some experience of Handling Key Opinion Leaders desirable

  • Drive for results passion to excel in the group. Proactive working is necessary
  • Technical competency
  • Selling Skills Basic skills like opening a sales call, probing, closing a call, asking for commitment. Prior training in soft skills will be an added advantage.
  • Working with team members and promoting team spirit and togetherness
  • Positive Attitude towards everything. Seeing challenges as opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills good command over English
